Dolls, Nuns & Sabrina: Horror Coming to Netflix & DVD December 2018

The holidays are coming which unfortunately means more Santa and Mariah Carey than horror releases. Since horror releases and Netflix additions are a bit sparse this coming month, there are a few titles included that aren't necessarily "genre themed", but are worth a watch. Here are the horror titles coming to Netflix and Blu-ray/DVD in December.


December 1st

Bride of ChuckyChucky, the doll possessed by a serial killer, discovers the perfect mate to kill and revive into the body of another doll.

Christine: A nerdish boy buys a strange car with an evil mind of its own and his nature starts to change to reflect it.

Hellboy: A demon, raised from infancy after being conjured by and rescued from the Nazis, grows up to become a defender against the forces of darkness.

My Bloody Valentine (2009): Tom returns to his hometown on the tenth anniversary of the Valentine's night massacre that claimed the lives of 22 people. Instead of a homecoming, Tom finds himself suspected of committing the murders, and it seems like his old flame is the only one that believes he's innocent.

Reindeer Games: After assuming his dead cellmate's identity to get with the other man's girlfriend, an ex-con finds himself a reluctant participant in a casino heist.

Shaun of the DeadA man decides to turn his moribund life around by winning back his ex-girlfriend, reconciling his relationship with his mother and dealing with an entire community that has returned from the dead to eat the living.

Terminator SalvationIn 2018, a mysterious new weapon in the war against the machines, half-human and half-machine, comes to John Connor on the eve of a resistance attack on Skynet. But whose side is he on, and can he be trusted?

December 14th

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: A Midwinter's Tale"During our holiday special, we'll get to see what Sabrina was like as a precocious tot. And while The Church of Night celebrates the Solstice, that doesn't stop Li'l Sabrina from asking Santa for something special." (Netflix)

December 25th

December 30th

December 4th

The NunA priest with a haunted past and a novice on the threshold of her final vows are sent by the Vatican to investigate the death of a young nun in Romania and confront a malevolent force in the form of a demonic nun.

Castlevania (Season 1): A vampire hunter fights to save a besieged city from an army of otherworldly creatures controlled by Dracula.

What Keeps You AliveMajestic mountains, a still lake and venomous betrayals engulf a female married couple attempting to celebrate their one-year anniversary.

December 11th

LizzieA psychological thriller based on the infamous 1892 murders of the Borden family.

I Still See You: Set ten years after an apocalyptic event that killed millions and left the world inhabited by ghosts.

Welcome Home: A couple spend a weekend at a vacation rental home in the Italian countryside in an attempt to repair their relationship, but soon become victims of the homeowner's sinister plans.

December 18th

VenomWhen Eddie Brock acquires the powers of a symbiote, he will have to release his alter-ego "Venom" to save his life.

The House with a Clock in Its Walls: A young orphan named Lewis Barnavelt aids his magical uncle in locating a clock with the power to bring about the end of the world.

The Predator: When a young boy accidentally triggers the universe's most lethal hunters' return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled scientist can prevent the end of the human race.
