Sharks, Dark Comedy & Tom Cruise: Horror Coming to Netflix & DVD September 2017

A new month means new releases; in the case of September, it's less new and more "revisited". It will be classics galore on both Netflix and DVD; Netflix does however have a new original movie, a horror comedy starring Adam Scott (Step Brothers) coming, but most of the releases they have for September are recycled from previous months.
September 1st
Deep Blue SeaSearching for a cure to Alzheimer's disease, a group of scientists on an isolated research facility become the bait, as a trio of intelligent sharks fight back.
Jaws: A giant great white shark arrives on the shores of a New England beach resort and wreaks havoc with bloody attacks on swimmers, until a local sheriff teams up with a marine biologist and an old seafarer to hunt the monster down.
Jaws 2: Police chief Brody must protect the citizens of Amity after a second monstrous shark begins terrorizing the waters.
Jaws 3: The sons of police chief Brody must protect civilians at a SeaWorld theme park after a 35-foot shark becomes trapped in the park with them.
Jaws: The Revenge: Chief Brody's widow believes that her family is deliberately being targeted by another shark in search of revenge.
Little Evil (Netflix Original): Gary who has just married Samantha the woman of his dreams, discovers that her six-year-old son may be the Antichrist.
September 8th
The Walking Dead: Season 7: The introduction of Negan brings forth more obstacles for Rick and the rest of Alexandria.  


September 5th

American Psycho 2A girl named Rachael Newman has developed a taste for murder and will stand at nothing to become a college professor's assistant.

September 12th

The Evil Dead/Evil Dead 2: A Blu-ray double feature of the cult classic films starring Bruce Campbell.

The Mummy: An ancient princess is awakened from her crypt beneath the desert, bringing with her malevolence grown over millennia, and terrors that defy human comprehension.

Phenomena: A young girl, with an amazing ability to communicate with insects, is transferred to an exclusive Swiss boarding school, where her unusual capability might help solve a string of murders.

September 19th

A Quiet Place in the CountryA popular painter, plagued by nightmares that he and his lover/sales agent are engaging in bizarre, ritualistic, sadistic sexual acts, seeks to escape the city and rent a house in the country.

Bates Motel: The Complete Series: Season one through season 5 of the A&E hit horror/drama series that served as the prequel to 1960's Psycho.

Children of the Corn: A young couple is trapped in a remote town where a dangerous religious cult of children believe everyone over the age of 18 must be killed.

September 26th

47 Meters DownTwo sisters vacationing in Mexico are trapped in a shark cage at the bottom of the ocean. With less than an hour of oxygen left and great white sharks circling nearby, they must fight to survive.

Cabin 28: Based on one of the most infamous unsolved murder cases in American history, this film follows a family who are terrorized at an isolated cabin by mysterious assailants.
