Terror Threads Review "The Autopsy of Jane Doe"

Troy Haecker André Øvredal brian cox emile hirsh horror movie The Autopsy of Jane Doe

Last week at Terror Threads we found time in our schedule to collectively watch the recently released "The Autopsy of Jane Doe". We heard great things from our Social Media friends about this movie so we knew we had to check it out, and we must say we know why people thought so highly of it. The film does an excellent job of establishing an eerie setting right off the bat, and doesn’t waste the audience’s time with a dramatic backstory no one cares about. In the beginning of the film you’re introduced to a murder scene, and the body from said scene gets sent to the local coroner’s office. Our main characters, a father and son who run the office, quickly find that they’re in for more than they bargained for as what follows is an autopsy that’s anything but ordinary. "The Autopsy of Jane Doe" utilizes a perfect blend of jump scare scenes and gore to terrify the viewer and it had us on the edge of our seats throughout. Overall, the staff here at Terror Threads found this to be a really good Horror film, and most definitely worth the watch. We highly recommend it for our friends that haven’t seen it yet to find time for it.

With that being said we here at Terror Threads wish you all a safe and killer New Year, and we can’t wait to see what 2017 brings us in the world of Horror!
